The Missing Artifact (Logic 1)
Logic Game: The Missing Artifact (Logic 1)
Story:
In the Museum of Ancient Minds, five priceless artifacts were scheduled for display: a mask, a scroll, a dagger, a gem, and a crown. Each artifact was supposed to be placed in a different exhibit room (labeled A through E) and arrive on a different day of the week (Monday through Friday).
However, one artifact has mysteriously gone missing. You are the detective hired to figure out which artifact is missing, from which room, and on which day it was supposed to arrive, using the following clues.
Clues:
- The scroll was scheduled to arrive a day before the artifact meant for Room C, but not on Monday.
- The artifact for Room A was either the dagger or the one arriving on Friday.
- The crown was not meant for Room D or Room B.
- The mask was scheduled to arrive on Wednesday.
- The artifact for Room E was supposed to arrive on Tuesday.
- The gem was scheduled for Room B.
- The artifact scheduled for Monday was not the scroll, the dagger, or the one for Room A.
- Only one artifact scheduled for a weekday, room, and type was never delivered. All others arrived as planned.
Goal:
Using logic, determine:
- Which artifact is missing?
- From which room?
- On which day was it scheduled to arrive?
